SeaChange highlights ways to monetise multiscreen services
TV software company SeaChange International (Stand O28) is using ANGA Cable to highlight how various screens can be used to monetise content.
One of the solutions on display, SeaChange Adrenalin, is a unified back office based on an open service-oriented architecture enabling operators to manage, monetise and deliver a multi-screen experience to subscribers. The platform incorporates applications focused on business management, content management, recommendations, monitoring, and client publishers. SeaChange Nitro is a multiscreen user experience application that enables operators to provide a presentation of linear and on-demand content across mobile, PC, tablet and TV screens. Nitro uses HTML5 to give subscribers intuitive features and functionality to navigate and manage video content on various screens including catch-up TV, search, recommendations, bookmarking, TV listings and social media. Also on show is The SeaChange Adrenalin Business Management Suite, a management tool that lets operators manage their assets; create bundles and promotions including loyalty schemes and happy hour discounts.
SeaChange is also highlighting its advertising solution, Infusion. According to the company, it enables targeted, multiscreen ad insertion capabilities for pre-, mid-, and post- rolls, overlays, banner ads, click-through, and companion ads. Operators can combine personalised information with business rules to determine which adverts to place in either linear or on-demand content.
“There’s great potential to increase average revenue per user through multi-screen services and the intelligent video solutions from SeaChange provide an array of tools to maximise revenue from content,” said Erwin van Dommelen, president, SeaChange Software. “Especially on tablets and smartphones, personalisation makes a big impact. The more personalized the experience, the more you can target advertisements and promotions.”
