Polsat claims HD lead

Polish DTH operator Cyfrowy Polsat has added two new HD channels to its line-up, taking the total number of HD channels available on the network to 28.

The operator has added local channels TVP1 HD and TVP2 HD, giving subscribers access to live Champions League football coverage. Both channels are available to all HD subscribers.

Polsat has around 1.7 million HD customers, making it the leading HD provider in Poland.
