Ukraine’s Volia reportedly looking to make acquisition

Ukrainian cable operator Volia is in talks to acquire PPF Investments-backed western Ukrainian operator Odek for about US$14 million (€11 million), according to local reports.

Odek operates networks in the western Ukrainian cities of Lviv, Zaporizhzhya, Chernivtsi and Ternopil, serving about 183,000 customers including 35,000 internet subscribers, with turnover of around UAH80 million (€7.7 million), according to the reports.
