Almost half of sets sold in Germany are connected TVs

Research from German industry association Bitkom shows that 46% of TVs sold in Germany are now connected TVs.
One in six German homes now has a connected TV and that will soon rise to over 20%, according to Bitkom.
Furthermore, almost a third of the installed base of connected TV owners use the Internet functionality.
