BBC extends lower league soccer highlights deal


The BBC has extended a rights deal for non-Premiere League soccer games.

The UK public broadcaster has secured highlights coverage of games from the three Football League divisions for three more years. The deal also includes the Carling Cup and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy. The BBC airs weekly coverage of the games in the Saturday night programme The Football League Show.
