Gibraltar signs up with Arqiva for DTT

The Gibraltar Regulatory Authority (GRA) has signed a contract with broadcast services provider Ariqiva to build a digital broadcasting network in Gibraltar.

According to local reports, the GIP1 million (€1.24 million) contract foresees the development of two digital TV multiplexes and two digital radio multiplexes.

The Gibraltar government has confirmed plans to complete digital switchover by the end of this year and blamed the previous administration for failing to take action until now.
