Disney hires UK programming chief
Disney has hired former BBC Children’s exec Louise Bucknole to replace Jonathan Boseley, who left the studio earlier this year.
Bucknole, who was previously part of BBC Children’s scheduling team, becomes director of programming for the UK and Ireland and she will look after the Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior. Bucknole had previously worked at Disney between 2007 and 2009 and has also held roles at ITV and its kids channel arm CITV. Boseley left his role as VP of programming and production in January.
