Volia names new technology chief

Ukrainian cable operator Volia has named Aleksandr Gnidyuk as its new director of technology.

Gnidyuk, who will be charged with supervising the continuing rollout of HD services and the modernisation of regional networks, among other things, previously worked in senior positions for Ukraine’s Centre for Global Communications and service providers FreshTel and Golden Telecom.
