TVP to launch HD channels in time for Euro 2012

Polish broadcaster TVP will launch two HD channels on June 1.

The company said the launch of TVP 1 and TVP 2 in high definition would coincide with the start of the UEFA European Football Championship on June 8, which will be held in Poland and Ukraine. TVP said the channels would air matches from the tournament in HD, along with coverage from the Olympics.
