UPC Netherlands boosts VOD line-up with Sony content

UPC Netherlands has signed  a deal with Sony Pictures Television to bring a raft of content to its on-demand platform.

The cable operator will offer titles including The Adventures of Tintin, Moneyball and Straw Dogs from Sony to its customers. According to UPC, 75% of its customers used the VOD platform last year, consuming more than 60 million movies and TV shows.
