Sky Deutschland gets more satellite capacity

Sky Deutschland has inked a deal for an additional transponder from satellite services company Astra.
The German pay TV operator will use the extra capacity, at the 19.2° east position, for HD channels and programming. Astra is now using 11 transponders in all on Astra satellites.
