Telenet boosts multiscreen channel line-up, adds Android devices

Telenet has increased the number of channels available via its Yelo multiscreen service to 31, and has made the service available to Android devices.

Telenet has added 14 new channels to the platform, including French-langauge channels La Une, La Deux, La Trois, RTL TVi, Club RTL and Plug RTL. Kanaal Z, Xite, CNBC, Ment, Actua TV and Bloomberg have also been added.

Telenet has also made the Yelo app available on Android devices.

Yelo launched last year on PC, smartphones and tablet devices and has attracted 260,000 users. Telenet said users favoured watching sports content on PCs, while children’s programming is two-and-a-half times more likely to be viewed on a smartphone or PC than on a PC.
