Hölzle makes SES u-turn
SES has announced that Norbert Hölzle is staying with the company to lead the European sales team, barely two months after saying he was quitting.
SES appointed Ferenc Szelényi to succeed Hölzle as senior vice-president commercial for Europe at the end of November but he has since left the satellite operator to “pursue other professional objectives”.
Ferdinand Kayser, chief commercial officer of SES, said: “We are delighted that Norbert will continue to lead our important European markets. Since Norbert joined SES in 2009, he has been instrumental for the development and growth of the company in Europe. We thank Ferenc for his contribution to SES and wish him all the best for his future career.”
Hölzle is responsible for SES’ key markets in western and central Europe, the Nordic and Baltics, eastern and southern Europe as well as Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and South Africa.
