Sony’s Crackle launches on Xbox Live
Crackle, the online video-on-demand service and digital studio, has launched a raft of Hollywood movies and TV series on the Xbox Live after striking a deal with Microsoft. The Sony Pictures Entertainment-owned service is launching the Xbox Live app in the UK, US, Canada and Australia.
In the UK, films and series including Street Fighter, Revolver, Jackie Chan Adventures, Dilbert and Spider-Man: The New Animated Series as well as a number of Crackle originals including Urban Wolf. Users will be able to activate the content through Xbox Live’s Kinect service that offers voice- and motion-activated controls.
