DT planning HD channel expansion

Deutsche Telekom is planning to expand the HD offering on its Entertain TV platform with the launch of 20 new channels this year, according to reports.

The company is set add 16 free TV channels and four pay channels over the next 12 months, reports said citing marketing chief Christian Ilek. He also revealed that 100,000 DT mobile customers have signed up to watch Premier League football matches on their handsets.
