TNTSat passes 3.3 million boxes sold

French free-to-air satellite service TNTSat had recorded 3.3 million set-top boxes sold by the end of last year, an increase of 650,000 compared with the end of 2010.

The service, which was launched in 2004 on the Astra satellite platform at 19.2° East, provides the 19 free-to-air national channels available on DTT, 24 regional channels provided by public broadcaster France 3, TV8 Mont Blanc and four channels in HD. It also offers an additional 10 French free-to-air channels and a large number of international channels.
