Televes offers fully assembled headends

TV technology company Televes has begun commercialising fully assembled distribution headends.

The Spanish company said the fully assembled and programmed headends would enable small operators, hospitality groups and housing groups to deliver services quickly and reliably, with the installer only having to connect incoming signals via the back-panel.

The launch follows a pilot in Portugal, where it delivered distribution systems with headends integrated in 19-inch racks including fibre services.
