Orange and Dailymotion to launch 3D channel

Orange and online video platform Dailymotion are launching a 3D channel.

Most of the content will come from Orange’s 3D channel available via its pay TV platforms in France, including Mag3D, a 26-minute monthly magazine programme airing 3D features.  The channel will be available in anaglyph for use with 3D glasses as well as on 3D compatible computers.

Users will also be able to use the channel to upload videos in 3D.

The platform will be available to mobile users from February 2012.
