UEFA awards Ukrainian rights to Euro 2012
The Ukrainian state broadcaster National Television Company of Ukraine and commercial broadcaster TRK/Ukraina have jointly obtained the rights to broadcast the UEFA Euro 2012 football championship in Ukraine.
The two companies will distribute 15 live matches each on a free-to-air basis. The final will be aired by both broadcasters. TRK will also air all 31 matches on its pay TV football channel.
UEFA Events marketing director Guy-Laurent Epstein said he was delighted to welcome TRK to the exclusive group of distributors of the tournament.
