Russia’s RTR launches Fight Club channel

Russian broadcaster RTR has launched a new channel devoted to combat sports, Fight Club.

The channel, which will feature professional and amateur boxing, judo, karate, wrestling and other sports, and plans to air a minimum of two world-class bouts each week, is available from today on the Yamal 200 satellite at 90° East and ABS-1 at 75° East in the clear. Fight Club will be encrypted in February 2012.
