Samsung completes first smart TV installation for hotels

TV manufacturer Samsung has completed what it says is the first installation of Smart TVs for the hospitality industry.

Samsung has installed a connected TV system at the Grange Tower Bridge hotel in London. According to the company, hoteliers can create a tailored profile for each facility in the hotel, choosing from a selection of themed templates. Each page can incorporate HD video, audio and digital photography to both inform the hotel’s guests and upsell the hotel’s offerings. Hotel can use Samsung’s system to provide guests with apps including BBC iPlayer in HD, YouTube and Google Maps.
