Netflix to deliver kids content on Wii


Online video streaming service Netflix has struck a deal with Nintendo that will see a raft of kids content roll out on its Wii gaming console. The move will see Netflix’s Just For Kids block available in the United States and Latin America.

Netflix added that it was also in talks with Sony to bring the kids package to the Playstation 3. 
David Watson, director of product innovation at Netflix, who is in charge of its family and kids content, said: “Visit the Just for Kids section in the Netflix Wii app and you’ll find a world of TV shows and movies suitable for children 12 and under. With unlimited instant viewing my sons can watch as much Phineas and Ferb or Johnny Test as they want, without being interrupted by commercials.”
