Envivio joins Akamai alliance

Video compression specialist Envivio is the latest company to join content delivery network provider Akamai’s NetAlliance partner programme, which was recently expanded to cover the Akamai Digital Media ecosystem.

Envivio said that its encoders are fully certified and compliant with the Akamai HD Network for HTTP streaming formats including Microsoft Smooth Streaming, Apple HTTP Live Streaming and Adobe Flash HTTP Dynamic Streaming.
