Irdeto acquires BayTSP

Content security specialist Irdeto has acquired Santa Clara, California-based anti-piracy technology provider BayTSP.

BayTSP specialises in search, discovery and anti-piracy solutions, which Irdeto will use to expand its security portfolio and complement its Irdeto ActiveCloak system.

BayTSP provides customer, including Hollywood studios, with the ability to identify and track unauthorised digital content, independent of language, across major internet sites worldwide. Irdeto will look to combine BayTSP’s managed services with Irdeto ActiveCloak for Media and will offer BayTSP’s business intelligence solution.
