Towercom chooses eventIS

Slovakian DVB-T/DVB-S operator Towercom has deployed SeaChange’s eventIS linear broadcast system for EPG creation and management.

Towercom is deploying SeaChange’s eventIS linear broadcast platform for EP) creation and management for two of its TV services.  The SeaChange software will support Towercom’s  hybrid DVB-S and DVB-T services.

Towercom’s primary operations center in Bratislava will host the SeaChange system, while a back-up deployment in Prague will provide backup.  Overall, Towercom services deliver over 50 channels to more than 1.5 million households across Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
