Former CNN exec to take over at Current TV
Former CNN executive David Bohrman has been appointed president of Current TV. He will join the Al Gore-backed broadcaster, which operates a cable network in the US as well as on a raft of international platforms, following the departure of CEO Mark Rosenthal.
Bohrman will oversee programming, production, broadcast operations, digital and technology and will report to co-founder and chief executive Joel Hyatt. He was previously Washington bureau chief and top special events producer at Time Warner-owned CNN.
