Rossiter leaves HBO for Sony Pictures

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has appointed John Rossiter as general manager, central Europe.

Rossiter will oversee the ongoing development of SPT’s networks in the region, including AXN, AXN Sci Fi, AXN Crime and Animax. His remit covers 13 localised feeds across Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Macedonia.

Rossiter joins from HBO where he was senior vice-president of operations and business development for central and eastern Europe.
