Rouxel joins GlobeCast as marketing chief

France-based broadcast services provider GlobeCast has appointed Philippe Rouxel as chief marketing officer.

Rouxel will be responsible for developing GlobeCast’s global product strategy for France, the UK, Italy, South Africa, Asia, and the Americas. GlobeCast said he will “lead the implementation of a strategy focused on value-added products in the broadcast market”.

Rouxel was previously vice-president of international distribution for news channel France 24, a position he held since 2007.
