Digital Plus acquires more football rights

Spanish pay TV operator Digital Plus has acquired rights to air live coverage of the matches of first division football clubs Real Zaragoza and Real Sociedad for the next three seasons.

The latest deal follows hard on the heels of Digital Plus’s acquisition of rights to air the games of leading side Athletic Bilbao last week. The deals cover league and cup games for the 2012-13 to 2014-15 seasons.
