Moves for MTV executives Singh, Dupont and Ticket

Bhavneet Singh, managing director of MTV Networks International’s Emerging Markets group, has joined the board of directors at Greek broadband and satellite operator Forthnet. Singh, who looks after MTV’s channels in Russia, India, Central and Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East, will become an independent non-executive member of the board of directors and will replace Ioannis Averoff. The news was announced by Deepak Srinivas Padmanabhan, chairman of the Forthnet board of directors.

Separately, MTV Networks International has promoted Michael Dupont to senior vice president, mobile brand licensing. Dupont was previously country manager of the broadcaster’s Belgian operation and will be replaced by Ides Ticket as vice president and country manager, MTV Belgium. Dupont will now develop all of MTV Networks International’s mobile brand licensing efforts around the world and will work across the company’s network of channels including MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central.
