ICASA names new chief
South African regulator Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has appointed Themba Dlamini as new chief executive.
Dlamini is the former deputy director general of the Department of Science and Technology and replaces Karabo Motlana, who left at the end of August. Dlamini, who will start in November, also previously worked at local telco Telkom.
