Sony ups Eddie Nelson to EMEA channels boss

Sony Pictures Television has appointed Eddie Nelson senior vice-president for its channels in the EMEA region.

Nelson has been promoted from general manager, SPT Networks Central Europe and has already started in the new role. He will run a portfolio of about 30 Sony channels in the EMEA region and build the channel brands’ presence in broadband and mobile. Prior to Sony, Nelson has worked in various roles in the TV industry, including to NBC Asia.
