L’Espresso in Italian DTT frequency talks


Italian media company Gruppo Editoriale L’Espresso is reportedly talking to Sky Italia and others that would like to lease some its DTT frequency. There are 10 national DTT multiplexes in Italy.

Rai, Mediaset and Telecom Italia Media each own two and D-Free (HCS) and L’Espresso operate the others. L’Espresso is talking to several companies about DTT capacity, according to Reuters. It already leases capacity to Sky Italia for the Cielo channel.
