Universal names digital initiatives chief
Universal Networks International, the global channels arm of Hollywood studio NBC Universal, has appointed Simon Presswell as senior vice-president, marketing and digital initiatives.
Presswell was previously managing director, EMEA, Universal Parks and Resorts, where he looked after theme park rides including The Simpsons Ride and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. He will be in charge of brand marketing and digital plans for Universal Networks International’s raft of channels including Syfy Universal, Diva Universal, Studio Universal, Universal Channel and 13th Street Universal.
