Cyfrowy Polsat’s Libicki predicts DTH saturation point

Dominik Libicki, CEO of Polish pay-TV operator Cyfrowy Polsat, said he expects the polish DTH market to saturate at a penetration level of 75-80%.

His comments were made during a conference call to analysts following impressive second quarter results that showed revenues up 22% and its subscriber base growing to over 3.2 million. DTH penetration in Poland currently stands at 62% he said, adding that he expects the Polish DTH market to grow by 1.5 million subscribers.
