Tele Columbus completes sale of Baden-Württemberg networks

German cable operator Tele Columbus has completed the sale of its local networks in Baden-Württemberg to regional operator Kabel BW, following approval of the deal by the Federal Cartel Office.

Kabel BW will acquire about 43,000 customers in Reutlingen, Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Schwäbisch Gmünd and Wertheim as a result of the deal, with integration of the networks to take place over the next few months. Financial details were not disclosed.

Tele Columbus, with about 2.2 million connected homes, intends to focus on developing its presence in the eastern part of the country.
