Estonia’s Elion sees accelerating TV subscriber growth

Estonian telco Elion has increased its digital TV subscriber base by 25,000 year-on-year to 113,400.

Elion’s digiTV service grew its base by 5,200 in the second quarter, double the rate for the same period last year, ahead of the country’s July 1 transition to digital TV. Elion said its TV subscriber base growth was also boosted by the launch of its DVR service.
