Comstar launches veterans’ package, new channels

Russian service provider Comstar-UTS has launched a special package of channels aimed at Second World War veterans.

The Veterans package, launched to mark the 65th anniversary of the end of the war, includes 41 TV channels for RUB35 (€0.92) a month. The service is being made available from Comstar’s Stream-TV customer services arm on production of documentation held by veterans of the war.

Comstar has also launched a number of new channels, including Viasat History on a permanent basis, Viasat Explorer and Fox Life. Comstar has also begun broadcasting Viasat Nature, Da Vinci Learning and 24Tekho on a trial basis.
