Mid Europa prepares €45m Total TV investment

Private equity investment firm Mid Europa Partners is set to invest €45m in Bulgarian satellite pay-TV service Total TV.

The investment firm acquired local pay-TV operator Interaktivni Tehnologii (ITV) last year and the money will be used to pay down the company’s debt as well as launch a number of new services. It hopes to double ITV’s pay-TV market share in Bulgaria from 15% to 30% in the next 12 months.
