Hungary’s digital TV take-up continues

Hungary was home to 1.178 million digital TV subscribers at the end of February, up from 1.148 million the previous month, according to data from the country’s National Communications Council (NHH).

The number of digital cable subscribers increased by 17,178 to 420,862, while analogue cable subscriptions were down to 1.317 million from 1.339 million a month earlier.

The NHH said that UPC is the market leader for pay-TV in Hungary with a share of 31.5%, followed by Digi with a 22.7% share.
