Taite moves to BBC America

BBC Worldwide Channels, part of the UK public broadcaster’s commercial arm, has appointed John Taite as vice-president multiplatform programming BBC America. He will be responsible for developing BBC Worldwide’s editorial strategy in the US on branded digital platforms, future genre channel launches and other programming initiatives.

Taite joined BBC Worldwide in 2007 as vice-president programming, EMEA, where he oversaw the launches of 12 channels in 12 months in the EMEA region.
