Canvas makes key appointments

Project Canvas, the proposed UK video-on-demand joint venture, has named its chief technology officer and director of marketing.

Anthony Rose, currently future media controller, vision and online media group, at the BBC, will take the role of chief technology officer, Rose was responsible for delivering iPlayer for the BBC.

Tim Hunt, currently director of marketing and communications at Freeview, and previously marketing director at Project Kangaroo, will become director of marketing.
