Lord Carter joins Alcatel-Lucent

Infrastructure provider Alcatel-Lucent has appointed Stephen Carter, the former head of UK communications regulator Ofcom, to the newly created role of chief marketing, strategy and communications officer. Lord Carter was most recently the UK’s Communications Minister. He resigned 18 months into his tenure after publishing the Digital Britain report.
