EU approves BBC and All3’s Tower

The European Union has given the relevant approvals for the creation of Tower Productions, the German-based joint venture production company announced late last year by All3Media and the BBC.

The UK-based super indie and UK public broadcaster unveiled the company in December, but it needed EU approval. Tower will produce BBC formats in the German market and be run by Stefan Oelze who is currently at All3Media-backed German production group MME Moviement.
