Le Lay leaving TF1 in February

Patrick Le Lay will leave French commercial broadcaster TF1 next month.

Le Lay is chairman of the French free-to-air broadcast group and will depart when its administrative council meets in mid-February. He will retain some connection with TF1 as president of gaming company Serendipity, which is backed by TF1 owner Bouygues. Le Lay is reportedly preparing a book about his career.
