Lagardère pulls out of France Television deal

French media company Lagardere has pulled out of a deal to acquire a stake in France Televisions advertising arm.

The company said that it pulled out of the deal to buy into France Televisions Publicite because of the way the sale had been handled. France Televisions Publicite sells adverts on the country’s public broadcasters and is looking for a buyer for 70% of the company.
