Channel 4’s E4 HD to launch on Sky

E4 HD, UK public broadcaster Channel 4’s second dedicated HD channel, is to launch on pay-TV provider BSkyB’s HD service on December 14.

The channel, a simulcast of the current E4 channel, will provide access to series including Glee, Misfits, Hollyoaks and Peep Show, many of which will be available to UK and Irish viewers in HD for the first time. The multi-year deal with BSkyB will take the pay-TV’s HD pack to 36 channels.
