Stokab chooses Nexans for fibre rollout

Fibre equipment supplier Nexans has been chosen to provide optical distribution frames and multi-dwelling node equipment for the Stockholm city fibre network by AB Stokab, the municipally-owned infrastructure company for the Swedish capital.

The total value of this project is around €15m, with Nexans products forming a significant proportion. Stokab is carrying out an expansion of Stockholm’s FTTX optical fibre infrastructure to enable it to provide high speed broadband to households.
