RCS & RDS names new commercial and marketing chief

Romanian cable and pay-TV operator RCS & RDS has named Niculae Plesa as its new vice-president of commercial operations and marketing.

Plesa will be responsible for coordinating the company’s various business activities, including its Digi TV pay-TV platform, fixed-line telephony and internet, Digi Mobile and Digi Sport. Plesa was previously a shareholder and general manager of InfoGate Telecom, recently acquired by RCS & RDS.
