HD to become standard for DTT, says CSAÂs Méar
All of FranceÂs 18 digital-terrestrial TV channels could be broadcast in HD by 2015, according to the deputy head of audiovisual media regulator the CSA.
CSA vice-president Alain Méar told a colloquium organised by NPA that the CSA was convinced that HD would be the default standard of the future, according to local reports.
Currently, HD versions of TF1, M6, France 2, Arte and Canal Plus are available on the digital-terrestrial platform.
